Go to Start Menu, open Run and type 'cmd'. Now, you are provided with command prompt. In the Command Prompt, type the following command replacing the letter X with the letter of the drive.
CHKDSK X: /F
NOTE : You can even format your pen drive using Command Prompt. Tags: computer
